Directions:

1. Complete the notes page for this topic by filling-in the blanks on the station handout. Click here for the notes.
2. On the back of the notes page is an empty chart.
   • Choose the three items from the notes that you feel were the most important to the Homesteaders.
   • Select a picture for each item you choose from the gallery below.
   • Copy and past each picture you select onto a Word document.
   • Print the document you create.
   • Cut and past each picture into a cell on the left side of the chart.
   • Next to each picture, in the cells on the right side of the chart, write one or more complete sentences explaining the importance of the items you chose.
3. Put your completed chart and notes in your stations folder. Make sure your name is on it!
