- Ask for the Western Settlement Resource CD and a copy of the viewing guide. If the viewing guide is not available you may download and print a copy.
- Place the CD in your computer.
- A window will open asking, "What do you want Windows to do?"
- Select : Open folder to view files...
- Double-click on the file Transcontinental Railroad.
- Watch the video and complete the viewing guide.
Completing the viewing guide is the TASK for this activity!
